Edit your global text styles

Once you've imported your image file into Inkbrush, you can edit the styling of your heading, body, and link text. You can also add new text styles.

  1. Click .Your global text styles are displayed.
  2. To edit an existing global style, in the Sample column, locate your style (e.g., Heading 1), and in the corresponding Actions column, click Edit. You can then edit the details for your text style.

    As you modify your text style, a preview or your text is displayed.

    1. To change the font family, from the Font drop-down list, select a font family. To add your own font, click the plus icon to the right of the Font drop-down list, and enter your font. This font must be installed on your computer.
    2. To change the font size, in the Size field, enter a size in pixels.
    3. To change the line height of your text, in the Line Height field, enter a height in pixels.
    4. To change the color of your font style, in the Color field, click . Then, specify a color, and click Done.
      Note: Inkbrush automatically recommends background colors based on the colors already in your email template. However, you can manually select a color by doing either of the following:
      • Click , and choose a color using the color picker.
      • In the text box provided, enter a hex value for a color.
    5. To add bold formatting to your text, from the B drop-down list, select a bold formatting option.
    6. To add italics formatting to your text, from the I drop-down list, select an italics formatting option.
    7. To add underline formatting to your text, from the U drop-down list, select an underline formatting option.
    8. To adjust the line height, select the Line Height check box, and specify the new height.
    9. When you're done entering the details for your new text style, click Save Changes.
  3. To add a new global text style, click New Text Style. You can then enter the details for your new text style.

    As you modify your text style, a preview or your text is displayed.

    1. In the Name field, enter a name for your text style.
    2. From the Tag drop-down list, enter a tag type to apply to your text style.
    3. To change the font family, from the Font drop-down list, select a font family. To add your own font, click the plus icon to the right of the Font drop-down list, and enter your font. This font must be installed on your computer.
    4. To change the font size, in the Size field, enter a size in pixels.
    5. To change the line height of your text, in the Line Height field, enter a height in pixels.
    6. To change the color of your font style, in the Color field, click . Then, specify a color, and click Done.
      Note: Inkbrush automatically recommends background colors based on the colors already in your email template. However, you can manually select a color by doing either of the following:

    7. To add bold formatting to your text, from the B drop-down list, select a bold formatting option.

    10. To adjust the line height, select the Line Height check box, and specify the new height.
    11. When you're done entering the details for your new text style, click Create Text Style.
  4. When you're done editing your text styles, click Back to Edit Content.
